After their debut at last year’s Integrate Expo, Professional Audio & Television (PAT) are preparing for their second appearance at this year’s Integrate and Security Tech Show at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Sydney, from September 2nd to 4th. Delegates can expect a diverse roster of manufacturers, featuring both long-time partners and newcomers amongst PAT’s portfolio such as LAWO, Ross Video, Wisycom, RTW, ERECA, Arista, Densitron, Cyanview, Providius, ENCO, Bolin Technology, and Proton – just to name a few.
The undeniable crowning jewel of the PAT stand is the PATVAN V2 – the Swiss army knife of mobile broadcast and AV demos. The PATVAN houses the latest from worldclass manufacturers in a cohesive and user-friendly solution. The LAWO diamond console surface and the virtual LAWO VisTools glass console are the driving force of audio mixing and management, both powered by the LAWO Power Core. Video switching is championed by ROSS Video’s Carbonite Ultra Solo, a compact UHD (up to 4K60) production switcher, complimented by Densitron’s 2RU touch monitor (loaded with ROSS Video’s dashboard) that work in conjunction with CyanView’s RCP-J to control a range of PROTON and Bolin Technology cameras.
Bolin and PROTON’s innovative offerings in broadcast cameras are also making a return this year on the PAT stand. Bolin Technology, a leading US-based manufacturer, offers indoor and outdoor PTZ cameras that are 4K and NDI capable as well as accessories such as their PTZ camera controller – which will also be on display at the PAT stand. PROTON Camera Innovations’ line-up of compact, high-performance cameras will consist of their PROTON RAIN and CAM – two of the world’s smallest broadcast-grade cameras.
One of the most significant recent additions is Wisycom and their industry-leading receivers, transmitters, and RF-over-fibre solutions. Delegates will be able to witness Wisycom’s MTK982 transmitter and MCR54 receivers in action with a total of 16 true diversity receivers. One of the key highlights of a Wisycom system however is their advanced linear technology which allows the ability to operate multiple transmitters in close proximity without any intermodulation distortion. Tighter spacing both physically and within a frequency plan means Wisycom is fundamentally more agile in stricter RF conditions.
Routing and processing systems will also be on exhibit, built around LAWO’s highly sought-after .edge, edge.ONE and HOME Apps. Powered by CoTs-based Dell Technologies hardware, HOME Apps will be on full display for processing and hosting, as well as Providius hardware running NVRT and BMG – all tied together by Arista switch fabric.
PAT’s stand is rounded out by LAWO’s mc236 MKII 32 fader console, the all-in-one audio production console. RTW’s audio metering solutions further complement with compact loudness metering by way of the already beloved TouchMonitor 5, as well as the brand new TMxCore that takes advantage of AI-driven tools like speech intelligibility metering and immersive audio analysis, while Network Display enables real-time metering in any standard web browser, perfect for remote monitoring or multi-screen setups.
